Costa Levigatrici S.p.A. is an Italian Company located in Schio (Italy), it was established in 1982 and has grown to become one of the world wide leaders in manufacturing wide belt sanding machines. In 1989 was built the first metal polishing machine in width 2500 mm, and in 1993 was created the "Costa Metal" division.Today "Costa Metal", with more than 1000 units installed, has became one of the most important firms for the production of deburring, polishing, brushing and grinding machines for ferrous and non ferrous materials.

Presently Costa Levigatrici S.p.A. employs about 200 people, the working activities are distributed in three different plants for a total covered area of 17.000 Sqm.

At the headquarter of Schio we have established a permanent show room and a testing facility with several machines fully operating where, with the support of our specialized technicians, the customers can find and test all the most suitable solutions to their production's needs.

In the same site (since 2006) we have established our laboratory where electronic instruments can check the result of all the tests performed.

Besides check controls and analysis, the laboratory is used also to test abrasives materials to give a complete professional advice about the best tools to utilise for the most various finishing requirements.

Within its organization Costa Levigatrici S.p.A. is carrying on a permanent research and development activity to grant its Customers always innovative solutions.
